SSIR plays an important role in driving smart, constructive conversations, especially at times like these when so many distractions appear each day. At the Southern California Center for Nonprofit Management we think it is time to have some honest conversations about the capacity of organizations to drive meaningful and lasting change. The financial models are stressed to absurd levels and we, as communities, expect executive directors to work magic without the tools or resources they need to succeed.
