As one of three staff at the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment, and the fundraiser to boot!... I am in sympathy with this article of course. Probably a third of our budget depends on Foundations and since much of our work is advocacy, and we have no charitable status for this piece of the work, we must seek VERY generous environmentally supportive Foundations. No mean feat. We’re small, but we’re mighty, and we want to keep it that way but find greater support and stability to do what needs to be done.
