Whaooo! This is great stuff! Thanks for your easy to read book. It gave me a fantastic frame for the work we are doing. I understand why some of our actions have impact and other less. This book is what I needed to read right now.
I look forward to reading through your book and appreciate the concise explanations so far. We as humans are never very good at accurately naming the “container” when it comes to problem solving. We have clients who want to make a simple change and attempt to communicate as a simple change and are blindsided when they’ve rocked the organization to the core.
I always appreciate Argyris’s look at how we are susceptible to avoiding the wicked problems with band-aid approaches that are easy to defend and be accountable for. When we get the courage to dig deeper we bring in diverging perspectives and start the shift from not working to working better.
