Just wondering if asset lock featured much in this discussion? It does in Scotland when we discuss social enterprise as most practitioners and policy makers are comfortable with social enterprise having a business focus but a primarily non profit distributing structure and asset lock. We are aware that in many parts of the world other structures are widely used but I’m curious to see if profit distribution featured in the feedback to REDF. (A good read and timely as we begin a national mapping).
Carla - This is very timely as non-profits begin to think through their new year and how they can strategically spend their time. Thanks for the insight and I will be sure to pass this along to the NFP’s we are helping with grant writing.
