I have been involved in creating positive impact for humanity and the planet since the late 80’s. In 1993 I co-designed the business, investment, humanitarian and environmental thesis of “Making A Profit While Making A Difference”. Health Care has the potential to have huge positive social impact and I just recently invested in a HC startup that I believe has the potential to not only be an exemplar for the “Making A Profit While Making A Difference” thesis, but also to be the most profound social impact company I have ever come across (and I have seen plenty). Great article and thank you for making a difference.

Very insightful piece!
The very interesting aspects for me are that
1, Donors and aid agencies having embraced market-driven solutions yet, deploying funds in much the same to enterprises
2, The mismatch that exist between funders and enterprises in regards to funding and expectations.
Well done on developing and sharing the framework, this will help alot and play a big part in directing resources to the right projects.
