Well considered argument for both the increased (present) value of investing in missions (v. building endowments) and for leveraging that action to increase invesments. Hear, hear!
Your statement, “donors ... are inspired to invest even greater dollars in a foundation that is having an impact,...” is something we experience first hand on the reservation. Despite the limited resources in our community, the fact that we are visible and making a difference continues to spread awareness about Bagosendaan and continues to reflect more local contributions to our budget. Although this reflects a small percentage of our financial support it affirms our program’s impact on our local community. We applaud WFMN for its decision to be proactive, even revolutionary, in its mission to contribute to creating positive change in our world. The extraordinary results you have achieved reflect your effectiveness as an organization and the success of your strategies.
