I am living in Boston now working for a Innovation Strategy and Product Design firm, hoping to get my company more involved in civic projects. I loved this article and it is great to hear of any efforts being made to help re-engage people in their government or local communities.
Was happy to run into this article by Hollie Russon Gilman.
Something I would like to learn more of is not only how to increase civil engagement, especially with younger folks, but why is there not enough civic engagement to begin with (or has it always been like that across history?)
Was pleased to come across this article - still so relevant. Would love to read more about how cities are using data portals to engage citizens and work toward effective policy results on their behalf.

Katherine Belk: The National Campus Compact office is in Boston. They might be an ideal partner—or be able to suggest ideal partners—for your work.
