We need far more Credit Unions like yours!!! I had banked with a local Credit Union and they made predatory sub-prime loans look like a joy compared to their Underwriting. I found Wells Fargo far easier to deal with than a local Credit Union.

What is your definition / criteria for a reliable car?
Plus, how did you vet the approved dealerships that you work with?
It all boils down to the financing companies and their technique of selling. Some businesses are in the industry solely for profits-reaping whereas others are out there in the market to sincerely render assistance so to allow borrowers to build back their lives. If it is the latter, the financial companies would take full responsibility and ensure that borrowers will only borrow a certain amount within their means to benefit from the loan rather than adding on to their current burden.
