From my short tenure trying to bring some business benefits to non-profits, I see a huge divide. Their is no shortage of causes but therein lies the problem, so many causes, so few dollars.
Non-profits are creative in addressing needs but woefully not creative or accepting in finding ways to bring in money to accomplish the tasks.
Like him or not, this is one reason why Gates is doing is own thing so that whatever they take on, they know they can fund - or at least relatively better than the norm.
As a voice in the wilderness, I will tell you that it is virtually impossible to introduce a new fund rasing idea.
