Excellent article that points the way toward reform of the overall governance in Africa that has held back development of a richly talented area. Companies walk a delicate balance as they have to deal with “the government you have”, but working with NGO’s, they could encourage the population with positive results and longer term, with increasing wealth. That will then lead to reform as the population emerges from grinding poverty in a resource rich region.
