I think mergers, specially in finding synergies, centralizing fundraising and administration are important. Where can we find more information or white papers about it?
I think are the perception that m&as;are synonymous with job-cuts, loss of control, loss of mission and that the people who promote them do it at the expense of the underlying company: to get their fee or a very profitable exit down the road?
Addressing these barriers and showing the value-add would be a first step.
