Fantastic ! May lend possible truth to a friend’s claim: “Solutions exist; we need only to listen for them.” . . . and have a Changemakers structure to nurture & circulate & honor them.
A possible social problem question to post: How can a giant, now-arrogant government imitate the Changemaker quest for fresh, productive, insightful solutions ?
Changemakers.net is empowering individuals to think independently and to feel responsible for their action! I wonder if the founders are willing to replicate the idea in small regional groups .
Actually Changemakers is part crowd sourcing and part “crowd collaboration”—i.e., with the ideas and inputs flowing both from the “crowd” and among the “crowd.” See Charlie Brown’s article about Changemakers in our special issue on collaborative innovation and collective intelligence ( Vol. 2, Issue 3, available for free download from http://www.innovationsjournal.net/ ).
Careful! you might create the impression that people actually care about each other. This sounds like an absolutely brain stimulating idea. Go for it. Lottie
