Todd - I could not agree more. I have spent years thinking about how to make non-profits more effective and efficient. As an industrial engineer, as an Executive Director of a non-profit, as a businessman working in Asia in a shared service center, and as an MBA student at Yale I began to truly understand the needs for shared service centers to help and assist non-profits. Out of those years of research, a group of us have started a company that provides shared financial services for non-profits nationwide. (http://www.youreasyoffice.com) The idea is that by serving hundreds and thousands of non-profits, with our economies of scale we can provide the expertise that a single smaller non-profit cannot afford.
