  Jim Bildner

  Jim Bildner is chief executive officer of the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation. He is also adjunct lecturer in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School and senior research fellow at the Hauser Institute for Civil Society and the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard University. He is a trustee of The Kresge Foundation and chair of its Investment Committee. He serves on the boards of several organizations, including the Public Citizen Foundation and Education Pioneers. He is a trustee emeritus at Case Western Reserve University and is a member of the Chief Executives Organization. Bildner serves on Investment Committees of boards with aggregate endowments in excess of $4B and is a member of numerous finance, investment, and/or audit committees of these boards. Jim’s government service included an appointment by the US Secretary of Health and Human Services to the Advisory Panel on Medicare Education for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

  Kruti Bharucha

  As founder and chief executive officer for Peepul, Kruti Bharucha provides strategic direction and vision, managing the portfolio of programs, and identifying innovations and partnerships leading to learning outcome improvements in government schools. Prior to the education sector, Bharucha worked with multinational organizations and multilaterals. She led Corporate Executive Board’s (CEB) Finance and Strategy Practice in India and worked in CEB’s Washington, DC office. She has worked at consulting firm McKinsey & Co., The World Bank, and the IMF, where she specialized in policy and reform initiatives. Bharucha graduated from the London School of Economics with Distinction. She was a Rainer fellow of the Mulago Foundation and was recognised as one of the Top 100 Women Transforming India by Niti Aayog. She has received awards as a BusinessWorld 40under40 Leader, World CSR Congress’ Social Innovation Leader, the Women Economic Forum’s Excellence in Leadership, and Business World’s Social Entrepreneur of 2019.

  Rebecca Taber Staehelin

  Rebecca Taber Staehelin is the co-founder and co-chief executive officer of Merit America, a nonprofit startup that prepares low-wage workers for in-demand careers at scale. Taber Staehelin has spent the past decade focusing on education-for-employment across the public, private, and social sectors. Prior to founding Merit America, Taber Staehelin built and led Coursera’s Government & Nonprofit team, overseeing dozens of partnerships reaching tens of thousands of learners. Previously, Taber Staehelin was education advisor to Governor Markell (Delaware), chief performance officer at the Delaware Department of Education, and a consultant at McKinsey & Company. Taber Staehelin received her bachelor’s in political science from Yale, as well as a master of business administration and master in education from Stanford.

  Tatiana Garcia-Granados

  Tatiana Garcia-Granados is a co-founder and chief operating officer of The Common Market. The Common Market is a nonprofit, local food distributor with a mission to connect communities with good food from sustainable family farms. The Common Market aggregates food from independent family farms in Texas, as well as the South East and Mid-Atlantic states, and distributes from their refrigerated warehouses in Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Houston, primarily to anchor institutions like schools and hospitals. Garcia-Granados also has experience working with Citigroup as a management associate in its Structure Corporate Finance Group. She earned a master of business administration in finance from the Wharton School, is a 2016 Eisenhower fellow, and a 2009 Environmental Leadership Program fellow.

  Claire Chamberlain

  Claire Chamberlain is a managing director for Social Impact at Blackrock where she directs the firm’s global philanthropic initiatives to help address pressing social problems, with a focus on the economic mobility and financial resiliency of vulnerable communities. The team partners with nonprofits, research organizations, start-ups, and employees to fund and build solutions that build more inclusive and sustainable economies. Chamberlain oversees the firm’s grant making and engagement programs and serves as an officer of The BlackRock Foundation. Prior to joining BlackRock, she was managing director at The Robin Hood Foundation where she cultivated leadership donors and developed new major gifts pipeline on the West coast. She also played a key role in the incubation and launch of the Immigrant Justice Corps. Chamberlain also worked previously at McKinsey and Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division. She has held multiple nonprofit board positions, including co-founding the Women’s Health Philanthropy Council at Morristown Medical Center and chairing the board of The Peck School in New Jersey. From 2010-2015, she served on the New Jersey State Board of Education.

  Eric Nee

  Eric Nee is the editor-in-chief of Stanford Social Innovation Review, published by the Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society at Stanford University, and co-host of the Social Innovation Conversations podcast channel. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the publishing industry, most of it covering the high-tech industry. Before joining Stanford, Nee was a senior writer for Fortune magazine in the Palo Alto, Calif., bureau. He also helped Time Inc. launch eCompany Now (where he was executive editor), which later merged with Business 2.0. Before joining Fortune, Nee launched Forbes magazine’s Silicon Valley bureau, where he was bureau manager. He also served as editor-in-chief of Upside magazine for close to five years.
