Trovon C. Williams is the senior vice president of marketing & communications with the NAACP. Optimizing an extensive career developing integrated marketing and brand strategies across government, education, technology, non-profit sectors, Williams leads an award-winning communications team who are currently reshaping and modernizing the premier civil rights organization in the nation. Jennifer Roberti, chief marketing officer at Save the Children US, joined the organization in 2018 with experience in both the for-profit and nonprofit worlds. Prior to Save the Children, Roberti oversaw integrated marketing and digital efforts as CMO for UNICEF USA. Chris Thomas is vice president of nonprofit executive engagement at Salesforce. In this role, he develops marketing initiatives and engages with the social innovation leaders to capture, distribute, and amplify technology innovation in the nonprofit sector.

Optimizing an extensive career developing integrated marketing and brand strategies across government, education, technology, non-profit sectors, Williams leads an award-winning communications organization who are currently reshaping and modernizing the premier civil rights organization in the nation. His recent digital advocacy campaign #WeAreDoneDying and television commercial series “Hey Black America” powered by the NAACP and TV One earned him national prominence leading to him contributing as a speaker for numerous panels, podcasts, and conferences across industries. Prior to joining the NAACP, Williams served as chief marketing officer at Perfecta, where he led the company’s global marketing and communications efforts and brand expansion from government focus to commercial enterprise service offering. Previously, Williams served as the executive director of marketing and communications at the College of Southern Maryland. He has also held senior marketing and communications roles with Iridium Communications, Citrix Systems, and the U.S. Bureau of ATF. Williams is a graduate of Hampton University School of Business receiving a bachelor of science degree in marketing in 2006 and an MBA in international business in 2013 from Stratford University. Williams was recognized in PRWeek’s “Top 40 under 40” class of 2021. Williams has received numerous interactive media awards for his marketing and communications expertise over the last 15 years. Jennifer RobertiJennifer Roberti, chief marketing officer, joined Save the Children US in 2018 with experience in both the for-profit and nonprofit worlds. Prior to Save the Children, Roberti oversaw integrated marketing and digital efforts as CMO for UNICEF USA. While there, she increased digital revenue from recurring donors by 30% over two years and overhauled UNICEF USA’s strategy and brand positioning. In addition, Jennifer reinvigorated their small-donor channel, reversing a 25% decline to a growth segment for the organization. Prior to her work with UNICEF, Roberti was CMO for MTN in South Africa, where she helped lead the mobile telecommunication company through tremendous growth, reaching 223 million subscribers in 22 countries. Under Roberti’s leadership, MTN became Africa’s first truly global brand as recognized by BrandZ Top 100 Global Brands.
