Dec. 1, 2025 Notice of Retraction: We investigated this story after receiving reports that the author had fabulized articles pitched to or written for other publications. We were able to confirm that the author did not speak to the cofounders of ScholarX and that the article included several misrepresentations. As a result, we are retracting the article.
