Global Education - Most Popular

The Goldman Sachs|Stanford University Global Education was the first forum of its kind bringing together education leaders from around the world to discuss how innovation, globalization, regulation and technology are impacting education, and how the public and private sectors can work together to drive improved student learning outcomes.

In a knowledge-based, global economy characterized by both impressive technological advances and crippling financial and budgetary crises – where the value of education and the resources available to fund it are diverging sharply – education appears to be at a fundamental inflection point. In this podcast series a variety of speakers weigh in on the question of how we can best capitalize on this pivotal moment in the development of education.

The conference was attended by some of the most important leaders in academia, government, entrepreneurship, the investor community and for-profit education businesses around the world. It took place in June of 2011 at Stanford's Knight Management Center in Palo Alto, CA.
